construiran la primera planta de la Pen\u00ednsula Ib\u00e8rica que transformar\u00e0 residus en productes de la qu\u00edmica derivada.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La planta tindr\u00e0 capacitat per convertir unes 400.000 tones de residus s\u00f2lids urbans no reciclables en aproximadament 220.000 tones anuals de metanol que es transformar\u00e0 en pl\u00e0stics renovables o biocombustibles avan\u00e7ats.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">S&#8217;emprar\u00e0 una tecnologia pionera en el seu camp que permetr\u00e0 reduir les emissions de CO<sub>2<\/sub> en unes 200.000 tones anuals<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-fullwidth fullwidth-box fusion-builder-row-2 fusion-flex-container nonhundred-percent-fullwidth al projecte Ecoplanta junt a Enerkem, l\u00edder tecnol\u00f2gic amb seu a Montreal, i a Agbar, especialista a nivell mundial en la gesti\u00f3 d&#8217;aig\u00fces i residus, per construir una planta de conversi\u00f3 de residus en nous productes qu\u00edmics a Tarragona. En el marc de la joint venture Ecoplanta Molecular Recycling Solutions, la nova factoria processar\u00e0 unes 400.000 tones de residus s\u00f2lids urbans no reciclables dels municipis propers i produir\u00e0 al voltant de 220.000 tones de metanol anualment. Aquest metanol s&#8217;utilitzar\u00e0 com a mat\u00e8ria primera per produir materials circulars o biocombustibles avan\u00e7ats, la qual cosa contribuir\u00e0 a evitar l&#8217;emissi\u00f3 d&#8217;unes 200.000 tones de CO<sub>2<\/sub> cada any i a reduir els residus que d&#8217;una altra manera acabarien a l&#8217;abocador. Aquesta alian\u00e7a \u00e9s un pas m\u00e9s en l&#8217;ambici\u00f3s objectiu de la companyia multienerg\u00e8tica d&#8217;arribar a les zero emissions netes el 2050.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La planta ser\u00e0 la primera que es construeixi a la Pen\u00ednsula Ib\u00e8rica d&#8217;aquest tipus i estar\u00e0 gestionada per Repsol i Agbar, mentre que Enerkem en ser\u00e0 el soci tecnol\u00f2gic clau. La decisi\u00f3 final d&#8217;inversi\u00f3 del projecte es dur\u00e0 a terme en el primer trimestre de 2022 i est\u00e0 previst que la planta entri en funcionament a finals de 2025. El projecte ja ha obtingut l&#8217;Autoritzaci\u00f3 Ambiental Integrada i la Declaraci\u00f3 d&#8217;Impacte Ambiental favorable per part de les autoritats.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Repsol compta amb un Complex Industrial de primer nivell a Tarragona, la qual cosa permetr\u00e0 establir sinergies entre les dues instal\u00b7lacions. Aquest centre petroqu\u00edmic de Repsol \u00e9s el m\u00e9s important d&#8217;Espanya i entre els molts tipus de pol\u00edmers que all\u00e0 es produeixen, destaca la gamma de productes altament especialitzats per al sector de l&#8217;automoci\u00f3, com els pol\u00edmers d&#8217;alta resist\u00e8ncia a l&#8217;impacte.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Segons Jos\u00e9 Luis Bernal, Director Executiu de Productes Qu\u00edmics de Repsol, \u00abens complau enormement unir forces amb socis tan rellevants i innovadors en la gesti\u00f3 de residus, perqu\u00e8 ens permet demostrar un cop m\u00e9s la nostra aposta per l&#8217;economia circular i refor\u00e7a el nostre comprom\u00eds de reciclar l&#8217;equivalent al 20% de la nostra producci\u00f3 de poliolefines a 2030\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Els residus s\u00f2lids urbans s\u00f3n de naturalesa molt heterog\u00e8nia. Per poder transformar-los en productes d&#8217;alt valor afegit com el metanol, la planta utilitzar\u00e0 una tecnologia molt complexa, la gasificaci\u00f3. Enerkem \u00e9s propiet\u00e0ria d&#8217;aquesta tecnologia d&#8217;\u00faltima generaci\u00f3, la primera que ha estat provada a escala industrial despr\u00e9s d&#8217;un rigor\u00f3s proc\u00e9s d&#8217;escalat que ha durat m\u00e9s d&#8217;una d\u00e8cada i que s&#8217;ha dut a terme a la seva planta de demostraci\u00f3 situada a Edmonton (Alberta, Canad\u00e0).
